Hi all players,
We’re excited to share our tournament and midweek calendar for 2026. There is lots of tennis for all players with different formats surfaces and concepts so we’re looking forward to having you with us again in 2026.

The most loved team tournament GayTP is back in 2026 🎉
We are excited to bring back this fun and competitive team event where players of all levels come together to compete as a team.

Sunday 24 May
8.30am to 5pm
📍 Where
Rockdale Tennis Club
💰 Entry Fee
* $65 for members
* $85 for non members
👥 Team Format
* 5 players per team
* Mixed levels within a team
* Two divisions
– Division 1
– Division 2
Each team will play per round
* 2 doubles matches
* 1 singles match
All 5 players participate in each tie
🏷 Team Point Limits
* Division 1 maximum 20 points
* Division 2 maximum 11 points
📊 Player Points by Grade
* Open = 5 points (GLTA Open / UTR 7.0+)
* A = 4 points (GLTA A / UTR 5.5–7.0)
* B = 3 points (GLTA B / UTR 4.0–5.5)
* C = 2 points (GLTA C / UTR 2.5–4.0)
* D = 1 point (GLTA D / UTR under 2.5)
📌 Important Notes
* Maximum 2 Open players allowed in Division 1 teams
* Open players are not allowed to play in Division 2
* The Tournament Director will review and approve all teams
* Approval may include both objective and subjective assessment of player ability
📝 How to Form a Team
* Gather 5 players
* Stay within the team point limit for your division
* Submit your team for approval
We will consider your highest ranking either singles or doubles as the main reference. We will still consider both GLTA and UTR together and allow some flexibility where needed.
For players who are new or do not have a reliable ranking you may be asked to attend a Sunday Social session so we can help verify your level.

When you register please include your team name or captain so we know which team you are in. If you need a team please enter team required. Spots are limited and your team place is only secured once all 5 players are registered.
