Sydney Badge, colloquially referred to as “Badge,” stands as Sydney’s major club/team-based competition, providing an array of team-playing opportunities for all players of all abilities across multiple divisions within the Metropolitan Sydney area. With a rich and storied history, Badge is recognised as one of Australia’s largest and most successful team competitions.

 

The format of Badge is exclusively doubles, granting each team the chance to become champions at the end of the season.

Badge is run by Tennis NSW and Tennis Sydney enters teams in Badge each year. Key dates for Badge 2026 are as follows:

Team entries open Friday 16 January 

Saturday Badge commences Saturday 2 May
