For those who are more competitively inclined, Tennis Sydney organises several tournaments each year including two GLTA sanctioned tournaments and numerous Club tournaments.
For tournament details and registration announcements follow our Facebook page and check the news section. Our event calendar will also keep you up to date with all tournaments and competitions.

Tennis Sydney uses GLTA and UTR software to manage tournaments. Tennis Sydney acknowledges UTR's software has problematic gender binary options. Tennis Sydney welcomes everyone including those beyond the limited binary options and has contacted UTR and will continually advocate for inclusive change within the software.

MATCH FORMAT: Compass Draw. Pairs progress through different sections of the draw based on their results, ensuring continued matches throughout the event. As the tournament progresses, pairss are matched against opponents of a similar standard, creating competitive and balanced knockout matches.
Club Singles Championship
DATES: 6 September 2026 (TBC)
LOCATION: Tennis Valley (TBC)
FORMAT: Singles Tournament

MATCH FORMAT: Players will be divided into divisions based on the number and level of entries. Each division will begin with a round robin stage, followed by knockout finals to determine the division champions.
Spring Classic

FORMAT: Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles

MATCH FORMAT: Events include All-Gender Singles, All-Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles (Open and C Grade), and Age 90+ Doubles. Players compete in their chosen divisions with round robin and/or knockout formats depending on entry numbers.
