Why do I want to join the Club?

 

There a numerous reasons to join Tennis Sydney.   Some may be directly applicable to you or your needs.  There could be other reasons that we do not foresee but cause you to want to join such a club as ours.

 

Why benefits do I get?

1.  social aspect of meeting new people.

3.  being part of the global gay and lesbian tennis community through our affiliation with GLTA.

4   being part of the global gay and lesbian sport community through our affiliation with Gay Games and OutGames.

5.  Discount rates for hiring tennis courts at Parkland Tennis Centre.

Reduced rates for court hire at Parklands Tennis Centre:
Weekdays: before 5pm: $13.50/hour
After 5pm, weekends & public holidays: $25/hour (normal price)

6.  A 10% discount when purchasing any item (ie. tennis rackets, shoes, grips, tennis bags, tennis balls etc) from Baker's Tennis at 156 Castlereagh Street, and a 5% discount on re-stringing.

7.  A 10% discount when any purchase or service  from StrungOut at New South Head Road.

8.  Being part of the tennis community through our club affiliation with Tennis NSW .  This allows you to be in the batch (clubs) competition.

9.  Allows you access to all areas of this website.

10.  Once you are a member, you can chat online with other members, email them directly, view current competition results,  maintain your online profile details,

11.  A discount on the fee for the social game every Sunday ($20 for non-members and $15 for paying members).  The social game fee covers all balls and four hours of court-play.

12.  Exemption from registration fee for all tournaments or competition organised by Tennis Sydney.  Normal tournament and competitions fees (towards court-hire and balls) still apply.


What is the membership fee?

1. Tennis Sydney Membership fee is used to fund the organisation's activities including Sunday Social tennis, tournaments and events.

2.  The Membership fee is $50 and is valid for a 12 months' period.


Type of membership

There are two types of membership - a non-paying registered person and a current paying member.

You do not have to be a paying member to register through this website.  However, registration do not allow you all the benefits listing above.  However, it allows you to view certain articles not accessible to the public.
