Events to be offered
|
The events on offer are for players at all levels. Men and women´s singles and doubles in Open, A, B and C grades.

Cost and registration
|
You have to register yourself on the webpage www.melbourneoutgames.org . The general registration fee is $60. The price for the tennis events are $68. You can enter 2 events (singles and doubles).

Venues
|
The venues are Albert Reserve on Friday and Melbourne Park on Saturday and Sunday. Melbourne Park is home of the Australian Open Grand Slam of the Asia Pacific.

Accommodation
|
We have made reservations at the Ibis Hotel and the price per person for 2 nights is $132 (twin share).

Flight
|
We will make reservation for flights with Virgin Blue immediately after the deadline.

The price for a return ticket at the moment is $303.

What else is on in Melbourne?
Outgames will also feature a two-day conference – A Rainbow Conversation on Human Rights – that will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions plus interactive works shops on a range of LGBT related topics. Opening ceremony
This will take place on the 31 January 2008.
Closing ceremony
It is expected to start around 5pm on Sunday 3 February 2008 as a Pride march to St. Kilda with a concert in the evening. If you want to stay for the whole closing ceremony and then depart Melbourne on Monday 4 February, you will have to make your own arrangements. |
